Sarah Martin is a perioperative nurse, mental health advocate, carer peer worker, and peer ambassador for Sane Australia.

Her mission and passion are to break the silence and stigma of all mental health concerns, which is why she wrote Dear Psychosis, her first book, a narrative nonfiction about a family’s journey with mental health, psychosis, bipolar disorder, and depression.

From fear and uncertainty to resilience and advocacy, Sarah’s story sheds light on the urgent need for better awareness, support, and understanding of mental health challenges.
